The US serves as the base of The Global Loop right now. That being the case, we feel it appropriate to bring you a bit of Americana. The country celebrates the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Junior on the 3rd Monday of every January as a national holiday. Federal offices, banks, and businesses take the day off and celebrations and event are often held around the country.

Since the main thrust of this entire site is to spread knowledge about lives and backgrounds of people and countries around the world, there is a direct line between the US Civil Rights movement and the existence of any of the electronic scribbles, doodles, and pictures that appear here. With that in mind, we'd like to present, in its entirety, to you the most famous of Dr. King's speeches, dubbed the "I Have A Dream" speech that was delivered on August 28, 1963 at The National Mall in Washington, DC.:

We headed back to Florida to try to catch it again for TGL followers, but...

We got it good, and we just wanted to share it with you, eh?

As for the music with this, we hadn't heard Baz Luhrmann's "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" in a long time. It seemed to be chill enough to match the mood of the morning and to remind us that we are about to debut a new season for this year.

So here's the Toronto skyline at daybreak. 1 hour, 21 minutes, and 51 seconds compressed into 5 minutes and 3 seconds. Happy Fall...Enjoy...
